Extremely Disappointed and Frustrated with NTT VW Kimberley

I took my vehicle to NTT VW Kimberley for a service on 1 September 2026. During the collection of my vehicle, one of their representatives/technicians drove my car on the national road. While he was driving my vehicle, the car was involved in a collision at the back, which I personally witnessed with my own eyes.

What is most frustrating is how NTT VW Kimberley is handling the accident. Instead of taking accountability and dealing with the matter transparently, they appear to be trying to shift responsibility for the accident away from their driver, despite the fact that I was present and witnessed what happened.

As of today, 22 September 2026, my vehicle is still in their possession and remains unrepaired. That is 21 days since I handed my vehicle in. I was provided with a courtesy vehicle, but they are now demanding that I return it while my own vehicle is still with them and has not been repaired.

The situation has become so exhausting that I have had to involve lawyers simply to protect my interests and try to get a proper resolution. This should never have reached this point.

I also cannot help but question whether I would be receiving the same treatment if I were not a Black woman. I cannot say that this is the reason for their conduct, but the way this matter has been handled has left me questioning whether I am being taken seriously and treated fairly.

I trusted NTT VW Kimberley with my vehicle. Their representative drove it, the vehicle was involved in an accident while in their possession, and I witnessed the incident. I now expect accountability, transparency and a proper resolution — not attempts to shift responsibility.

21 days later, they still have my vehicle, it is still not repaired, and I am still having to fight to have this matter resolved. This has been an extremely frustrating, exhausting and disappointing experience.
