"Service", what service?

So I don't usually do this and I am not one to complain about everything. I just feel so disappointed with the "service" I got from Nissan.

I bought my Nissan Almera 1.5 Accenta in 2017 April. It was a demo model with 2200km on the clock. The day I was supposed to get my car, they bumped it at the washing bay. So I couldn't get my car as it first had to be fixed. I did get another car from them to drive for a week. I was upset but also thankful for the fact that they gave me another car for time being.

So I got my car. From the beginning there was a clapping sound (not actually sure how to describe it) when you were driving on gravel road or uneven road.

From the first service I have asked them to check it out for me. No one could give me an answer and even tell me if they had a look at this issue.

December 2019 I took my car for a service, my husband went with me as I am a woman and not clued up with cars so maybe they will give attention to it when he asks them about the clapping sound. I had the worst service from them. No one informed me when my car will be finished, I called them at 16:00. The service advisor said my car will be done by 17:00. I made arrangements to get there with my newborn and 6 year old. When I got there just after 17:00 my car was not ready. The service advisor that helped me kept me waiting for more than 15-20 minutes just to assist me. Another service advisor then helped me to sign and get my car. Again no one looked at the weird clapping sound issue.

In the meantime I was phoned by one of the sales people in November, he said its time to get a newer model and he can help me with a good deal. I told him I will wait a bit as I am on maternity leave and there was a few changes on my side. I said I will contact him in the new year when I am ready.

29 January 2020 I contacted the sales agent saying I am ready, and asked that he will check what deal he can get for me. 30 January I reminded him that he must please remember about me. Up until today I have not heard a single word from him. I have the whats app messages to proof.

So to end with the last bit of terrible service I got from them. November 2020 I got a phone call to book a service for my car in December. I told the lady to please remind me as I am really busy and might forget about it. Never got a reminder. Phoned and confirmed my appointment. I took my car in for service. Service advisor received my car. Later that morning I got a call from him, this must be done on the car and am I aware that my service plan have expired? NO I did not know. I asked him what the service fee is, and his reply to me was R4300. I said to him that I really hope they have not started with my car as I don't have that money to pay them. I was furious as no one informed me that the service plan has expired. On the system it shows if you still have a service plan or not. Just so eager to get your car for a service but no one can ask if you are aware that the plan has expired.

Complained about it and then got told that Avis is the one that needs to inform me about the service plan. I was never even aware that Avis got anything to do with my car. I bought my car directly from Nissan.

I am not happy with the terrible service and lack of communication I got from Nissan.
