Poor service at NTT East London

I’ve had my VW Tiguan for just over 2yrs, 2 weeks ago whilst driving on the open road the bonnet just popped unprovoked and the car displayed airbag error. I did not hit anything at all. VW took the car in and upon inspection saw old scratches with green paint from a year ago and are now saying the car was in an accident and hence the bonnet popped and airbag reports an error. My car is insured and hence if I was involved in an accident I would have contacted them but this was not an accident but rather a factory error. My car has been with them for 2weeks and are refusing to fix my car. Never ever buy or send your car for repairs at the EL NTT.
