NTT Volkswagen Potchefstroom, for your peace of mind, don't take your car there.

This dealership is just over 50km from my town. Is quite new in that particular location, the premises is new & proper you just get convinced your car is in good hands.

Took my car there mid October 2023 for a 90k service. Among others they had to attend to misfiring and replace a sunviser that i thought bulb just needed replacing (sunviser is a story for another day cause the light there literally worked the time I checked leaving the dealership the next day it wasn't working to date after they decided to change the whole sunviser..And even since I took my car there the driver's window has been rattling like it will fall off I always suspect it was when they changed the sunviser).

The misifiring, which is the main thing I wanna talk about..Out of the 3days they made me do up & down there (1day for service, the other to change the sunviser and fog light, the other day for misfiring), they actually deny ever doing anything to the car to sort misfiring, and their stories continue to change. Took the car in, I leave the dealership the car is sorted not misfiring anymore, come January 2024, 1st weekend, I almost get stuck. The car is misfiring worse than wen it did when I took it to them, I'm out of town, I'm forced to take it to my hometown at the time. They find 3plugs of the same brand, one looking different. They change them the car is fine I come back I call VW Potchefstroom. The main reason for my call is that I want them reimbursing me money I just spent on plugs cause if they had done them proper just over two months prior the car would be fine. They telephonically confirm they changed three plugs and that the manager will call me.

The manager doesn't call they go mum on me for days. I take the matter to VW SA. Their findings: dealership manager says they never attended to any misfiring on my car that doesn't show on the job card, then they refer me back to the dealership. Was like the reason I came to you to intervene is because this dealership wouldn't communicate. They conclude their investigation with what the dealership manager tells them and disregard everything I said and call that investigation. They further say I can take the matter to Motor Industry Ombuds I was like really.,that's your best intervening on this matter🤷🏽♀️..

Twice on random times VW Potchefstroom calls me to say they actually did me a favour they changed the plugs for free because VW where I took it for 60k service changed them & they couldn't also charge for them during the 90k service (my car was still under warranty then). They again say if anybody at fault is VW where I took the car in for 60k service (mind you the car could go for like 30k since 60k, theirs pulled the car for a minute before it almost died on me)..They continued literally talking lies & nonsense denying ever attending to the car for misfiring at the same time acting like they did me a favour attending to the car, as for responsibility they continue to deny taking any....Regardless of these calls even after VW SA concluded their findings, to VW SA they deny I ever brought the car in for misfiring (I wasn't really shocked of the VW SA response as the two really are in the same watsapp group). Again, the last time they called, after a lengthy call the lady was like let me go speak to my manager I'll call you back..The call is still coming....

So, for your peace of mind, just don't trust your car with NTT Volkswagen Potchefstroom. As for the Brand VW, my future with them remain to be seen.
