You think it's a good idea to drop a dog you found at the SPCA think again.

<p>PLEASE SHARE SO EVERYONE CAN SEE HOW OUR VEREENIGING SPCA AND VANDERBIJLPARK SPCA WORKS.</p> <p>My sister in law dog Diesel went missing yesterday after a big storm in our area. We drove around all day looking for him and pasted on face book and made poster to try find him. The Vereeniging spca called me this morning saying that they have him and we can just go collect him at Vanderbijlpark SPCA but we have to pay accommodation of R100 and take my I'd book. I was more then will to pay this amount just to get him back home save to my sister in laws and her 3 little girls. But because he was a stay dog that she found at her school that no one ever claimed after posting it all over face book and reported it to animal cruelty and the spca driving to the address he was register at only for the house owner to tell us it's not his dog they decided to keep the dog. And the cell phone number did not exist that we got. <br />They then informed us that the dog now has to stay there in a small cold cage for 7 days. As the owner who never bothered to find him in the first place does not claim him then we can adopt him. But he has been living with them for 4 months. <br />Now why would u keep a dog in a cage if he could go back to a living home where he sleeps In the house with the kids instead of a cold cage. I'll tell u why.........for the money. NOT for the love of the animal. <br />Anyway after a big fight I told them I was going to fetch the dog and if they find the owner he can collect the dog by us or if they don't find the owner then we can just do the paper work for adoption. No was the answer we got. <br />I drove to the spca in Vanderbijlpark to get the dog but they removed him from there to Vereeniging spca so I could not find him. Then they phone us and tell us they found the owner and he will pick up the dog this afternoon. I asked for the phone number so I could contact the owner witch they gave us but still the phone number does not work. We asked for a address so we could try get into contact with the owner but they won't give it to us. <br />The story they are giving us does not make sense and I'm sure the dog is still by the spca and they not willing to give him back to us. <br />We want to see the paper work that was filled in by the owner that proofs he did come fetch the dog and get into contact with him to make sure he is happy.<br />Diesel bought lots of happens to this family as he arrived just after my sister In law lost her husband and 3 little girls there father. I was sure he was sent to them for a reason from above. <br />I will not leave this matter here till I am happy with the out come and I am sure diesel is with his real owner or back home with us. I will name and shame Vereeniging SPCA AND Vanderbijlpark SPCA TILL I GET THE ANSWERS I NEED.</p>
