Unhumane SPCA
Around three years ago, I had my dogs spayed at the SPCA in Roodepoort. Everything went well, and I was happy to go and fetch my dogs. Upon arrival the one lady asked me to follow her to the cages my dogs were in. She asked me just to look away, as they are busy uthenising small kittens. Not lady hip hopped into the hospital and started uthenising a litter of puppies. The sound of the crying baby dog is still printed in my head and I will never support the SPCA again. If that's how you treat small dogs, by not allowing them to live, it makes me wonder how you treated my dogs whilst in you hospital. This totally unacceptable and I am scarred for life as well. Why not give the puppies or kittens a fair chance to live? And if I knew that's how you treat animals, I would have taken the whole litter of puppies as well as kittens with me. You as human beings want to live. You want to enjoy life. You want to be loved. Why not give a puppy the same opportunity. You guys are monsters. May God have mercy on your souls.
Best regards,
Best regards,
It is unfortunate that it has taken you three years to raise your concern, if you had complained at the time I would have been able to provide you with an accurate answer. How do you know if these particular puppies were not being inoculated or microchipped, puppies get upset when they are vaccinated or microchipped The only ladies in our hospital at the time who were permitted handle a scheduled drugs were our veterinarians, and they did not perform euthanasia’s, our euthanasia’s were carried out by male AWAs. Roodepoort SPCA has extremely strict euthanasing polices, NO animal suffers during their final moments, NO ANIMAL SPCA’s receive thousands of unwanted animals, and there are very few good homes. SPCA’s do not have the luxury of turning animals away as many animal shelters do, we accept ALL animals, we never turn any animal away. People who think they can save all animals are the reason why SPCA’s have such a heavy burden of unwanted animals. There are several reasons why animals may be euthanased by an SPCA. • Highly contagious diseases, this puts all our animals at risk • Very young puppies and kittens with no mothers to feed them • Kennels and cattery filled to capacity with animals. • Injured, sick, old, or deformed animals SPCA’s are not monsters, unresponsible backyard breeders are the monsters. Your comments are very cruel and unkind towards people who do a job that no one else can or wants to do.

Best regards,
If you have puppies without a mother, let me know. Royal Canin has a milk formula you can give to puppies.
I am a great animal ***** and don't want to see or hear an animal getting hurt.
