Thank you SPCA my pup is better of in a cage unloved!
After finding my pup at the Roodepoort SPCA, and dealing with a rude inspector who never took the time to see how well I have taken care and loved my pup. I was refused to readopt him. She claims she is looking after the well-being of my my pup! Please explain to me how do you figure that out, when he has lost so much body mass and is now stuck in a cage , unloved and emotionally drained!how is this right. Ms inspector!!!! Do you walk the pup? Do you feed the pup? Do you love my pup? no! You power driven , Heartless person!
We at the National Council of SPCAs will forward your complaint to the Roodepoort SPCA asking for a response. Their response shall be posted within 7 days.

Good day,
A Pitt bull male was admitted to the SPCA on the 16th September 2018 from the Maraisburg area.
You only came to look for your two lost dogs in the 27 September 2018 which you had lost on the 16 September 2018, eleven days after losing two Pitt bull puppies.
Not once did you, a family member or even a friend bother to contact the Roodepoort Krugersdorp SPCA to enquire if the dogs had been admitted to the Roodepoort Krugersdorp SPCA.
My receptionist called me to assist her as you were getting very agitated with the answers she was giving you.
After greeting you I questioned you why you had not bothered to look for the two dogs previously. You simply stated that you had not had the time to come to the SPCA. You were too busy at work. You claimed to have come to the Roodepoort Krugersdorp SPCA on Sunday the 23 September 2018 and again the Monday which was a public holiday.
I asked you why had you not left a lost report with the security guard at the SPCA, you rep**** that you had not though that far.
I explain to you a number of times the importance to look for a lost pet, especially Pitt bulls which are regularly ****** for fighting and or to be used as bait dogs, you said you knew this.

After 96 hours a stray animals becomes the property of the Roodepoort Krugersdorp SPCA. It is then our responsibility to ensure that these animals are adopted into safe, secure, caring and loving homes.
In all honesty I cannot with a clear conscience adopt a Pitt bull puppy to a person who does not have the time to look for the dogs he has lost.
It is also very clear that your intentions are to breed with these dogs which once again shows that you are an irresponsible pet owner.
To not look for your lost Pitt bulls is extremely irresponsible. A good caring owner would have made a plan to look for their lost pets.
Why did you not take time off of work to look for your dogs?
Why did you not come into the SPCA on a Saturday to look for your lost pets?
Why did you not make a phone to the SPCA looking for your dogs?
Why did you not send an email looking for your dogs?
Why did your wife not come in to the SPCA looking for your dogs?
Why did the two dogs not have any form of identification on them?
There is absolutely no excuse for not looking for ones lost pets.
It is very upsetting to think what possibly has happened to the female Pitt bull you lost, especially knowing how this breed is abused and tormented.
I am thankful that the male Pitt bull is now in the care of the Roodepoort SPCA and we will find a secure caring family to adopt him.
The only time my attitude was unfriendly was when you called me a ******, that remark is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated at the Roodepoort Krugersdorp SPCA.
The young Pitt bull pup is in the process of being adopted.
I hope you find your female Pitt bull and any future pets you take responsibility for are provided with identification and you ensure your property is securely enclosed and should they go missing you immediately go to the relevant places to look for them.
Breeding of animals when so many are homeless and being euthanased due to over population is very irresponsible.
Before you bring more animals into this world spare a thought for the many dogs which are abused, tortured, and forced to fight by heartless people.
