SPCA ******S PUPPY

My family found a lost puppy, took him to an independent vet where he was diagnosed with an easily treatable skin condition. He also told us he would fully recover in a month. He was 8-9 weeks old. We then handed him into SPCA who acknowledged that his condition was not serious. We produced proof of diagnosis, proof of vaccinations & proof of treatment from the independent vet. The SPCA told us that he would be quarantined for 10 days, treated and put up for adoption. Less than a DAY later, we find out he was put down! If we had any indication that he would be put down, we would have treated him ourselves & found him a new home. Being the SPCA, you are supposed to fight against senseless killings! Why were we not contacted? Why were we **** to? I understand that there are rules about not contacting people but this was a life or death situation. Surely you could have app**** logic & judgement & doing the right thing instead of following a rule that was created for cases not like ours! We have videos of him clearly showing a healthy, happy, energetic puppy. I am deeply disgusted & heartbroken by your actions.
