SPCA full of empty warnings
How many times do you want to provide a person with warnings before you step in? An individual living in Selwyn, Roodepoort has been given numerous warnings, however, nothing is being done to save the 10+ dogs living in barbaric conditions at that house. What is the point of the SPCA if they cannot even step in.

The first inspection was conducted on 31 January 2022. The owner was given a written warning regarding -
(1) the condition of certain dogs on the property, (2) the number of dogs exceeded the Municipal Animal By-Laws and (3) the grass which was overgrown and rubble in the yard.
Only one warning was issued. And on that one warning the owner responded. -
1 February 2022 the owner surrendered fifteen dogs to the Roodepoort Krugersdorp SPCA. The Inspector agreed that he could keep five dogs on the property if the female dogs were sterilised by the SPCA. The SPCA carried the cost. He agreed to this.
The five dogs were also dewormed at the SPCA's cost.
The remaining dogs always have sufficient shelter and clean water.
Continuous follow up are being done to ensure the garden is cleaned up and is kept clean.
The Roodepoort Krugersdorp SPCA enforced the Animals Protection Act and not the Municipal Animal By Laws.
