SPCA Centurion
We adopted a puppy from SPCA centurion last week saturday(3 Oct). A young puppy only a few weeks old. This is our second dog from said SPCA. We are yet to receive a site visit (home inspection). Everytime when I enquire, I get the excuse that the inspector is busy. I understand that, but this is not our first rodeo. Why do we need to have another home visit if the first adopted pet is still alive, well, and in an exceptional condition? <br> <br> The goverment level of service from the SPCA leaves a sour taste in ones mouth. Hiding behind policies for \known"customers is not a solid way to acquire new homes for deserving pets. <br> <br> This will be the last dog that we adopt unfortunately (if we EVER receive the phone call for a site visit)."""
We would like to sincerely apologise to the Palmer family for the delay that they have experienced. We always inform applicants that the process for adoptions can be lengthy and take anything between 3 and 10 days depending on the work that the Inspectors have to undertake. Cruelty investigations and emergencies are prioritised in order to assist sick, injured and suffering animals as soon as possible thus delaying the inspection at the Palmer's property. We have made the necessary arrangements to undertake a property inspection with Mr. Palmer this afternoon, if the environment is acceptable, the dog can be placed in its new home as soon as tomorrow. Again, we sincerely apologise for the delay and wish to thank the Palmer's for wanting to give one of our animals a loving home.
