On 15 th of March 2024 i spoke to a person from District Watch and informed him that i have puppies and that i am looking for homes for the puppies and he took a photo of the puppies .At around 13:30 a person arrived at my house and informed me that he is inspector Davids from Grassy Park SPCA.He informed me that he got a complaint regarding alot of fetus that is lying around on my property .I opened the door and locked up the male dog in the garage and put a leash on the female dog that is a German shepard so that he can do the inspection. When he finished and did not find any fetus ,we sat down in the living where he took down my details. He inquired if i would like to have the 2 big dogs sterilised, which i said yes and that it was our intention to have them sterilised. He said that it would be free of charge.I called him on Saturday and left a message to call me.He phoned me on Monday and i informed him that i have advertised the puppies on the internet. He inquired from him when they are going to come and collect the female as discussed.Today is Wednesday and i am still waiting for feedback .I would like him to go and make and affidavit at SAPS regarding this matter as i regard this complaint as serious as this might happen again as it seems that my neighbour's do not want the dogs on the property as they bark when they hear or pick up any movement. They have broken in on my property and i have informed my insurance that there is two dogs on the property for our safety .My neighbors are renting on both sides, and i bought this property. At the moment there is alot of crime in our area.

Hello Bernard,  Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention via HelloPeter. It's important for us to acknowledge receipt of your complaint. The SPCA provides free sterilization services to support community members, operating on the basis of goodwill. However, due to high demand, we currently have a significant waiting list. Rest assured, our office will reach out to you in the near future to schedule the sterilisation procedure for your dogs. We appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter.  Best regards, Cape of Good Hope SPCA
