Rude and lying SPCA inspector from SPCA Midrand
I tried to obtain a 3 year old Jack Russell from SPCA Boksburg. I have submitted all required documents including the approval from my estate and body corporate. They sent an inspector from SPCA Midrand, he is rude. He **** about the size of my wall which he did not even measure. I know from my house plans that the wall is higher than he claims. And in his report to SPCA boksburg he writes about the size of the yard and i know for sure my yard is larger than what he wrote. So he is not being clear about why he is denying us the dog. He says one thing and write another in his repot. I do not understand what he is benefiting from refusing me a dog.

23 Feb 2024, 13:32Good day Ms Mmashela, during the inspection of your property, our Inspector discussed the height of your wall with you indicating that it is too low for a highly energetic dog. You informed him that you were unable to raise the wall due to the costs involved. He does not believe that he was rude in his explanation of the reason for the decline. We acknowledge that he used the term yard and not wall in his report, which we did correct in our correspondence with the Boksburg SPCA. There is no self-gain in this matter, and his only concern is for the wellbeing and safety of the animal in a property that is not adequate for a highly energetic dog. Our mandate is to prevent cruelty to animals, and while we do not question your ability to provide a loving home to an animal, we cannot approve a property whereby an animal may be compromised or escape due to inadequate parameter fencing. Thank you.
