Rescue our pet from the rescuers!

We were forced to give our beloved pet up for adoption on Monday. This was never our intention to lose a member of our family like this. I subsequently negotiated with the owner of the property that we are renting to have our beloved pet reunited with us. She subsequently agreed to allowed us to keep both our family members on the premises. I called Midrand SPCA to confirm whether we will be able to collect our beloved pet to reunite him with our family. The receptionist insisted on a inspection of our home at R200 and R650 for adoption. I strongly feel this is excessive and insensitive to our regret in letting one of our family members go.

Kenny is a very important part of our family and we regret ever decided to give him up for adoption. It is inhumane to require a fee to reunite someone with his family, this is borderline a ransom note and should never ever be allowed. I cannot stress the fact that we need our family member back as everyone in our household misses him. We need help to reunite our pet.
