refuse to treat animal
my son took his dog to SPCA Roodepoort with suspected cat flu, the dog was examined and suspected diagnosis confirmed. he was told to pay a consultation / tests fee of R368 and was then told to take the dog home as there is nothing they can do as they do not treat dogs with cat flu. <br> this is absolutely disgusting, no care, no professionalism. i thought the SPCA cared about animals.

Herewith Roodepoort SPCA's response:
A responsible owner vaccinates their pet at 6, 9, and 12 weeks of age, which prevents the pet from contracting deadly viruses such as Canine Parvovirus or \cat flu\".
