Refusal to adopt my own dogs
I woke up to no Dogs on Tuesday morning 4th August 2020, and I thought it was a theft. I pleaded on Facebook until someone suggest to check at local spca and there I found them, after 7 days. I’m told I can’t readopt them because I’m subletting in my property? Pardon me?
They caged my dogs for that long while I have a 2000m2 of a yard to run around, warm houses and plenty of food not to mention the love for them.
Some institution are insane. Really insane. But thank you for making realize I have chosen the right profession in law. As soon as I’m admitted, you are on my list.

17 Aug 2020, 13:392 dogs came into the SPCA on Monday 3 August as strays– and the family only came to the office to reclaim them on the 12th of August, therefore they had to readopt the dogs (no phone calls were received prior to that). The application was questioned as they were going to cage / keep the dogs in a pen. However, we went out to do a property inspection anyway. We requested that they put a gate up to separate the front and backyard so that the dogs are safe and have free roam with a lot of space. Phoebe was given a call, as she sent us a similar email on Friday.
The property was inspected once again, after they placed the gate up. Phoebe came to collect both of her dogs on Friday afternoon.
