Money first! Save dog later!

Hi SPCA Benoni, I would like to applaud Rene on her services to the public as well as the SPCA. We adopted a doggy last year November from SPCA Benoni. Great service all round. The cost was reasonable for adopting and spaying (R550). <br> <br> Now we have decided to adopt another doggy from SPCA. We went there yesterday afternoon and had a look at several suitable dogs. We settled on a German Shepard cross as well as a puppy min pin cross. We had bought our dog with to see if we could introduce the GSD to ours. We waited a little while while the staff tried arranging an introduction with the GSD and ours. Due to an unforseen incident we did not have the opportunity to introduce the dogs.<br> We were asked to call the next day to see if all was fine and would return to do an introduction. <br> We decided to fill in the paperwork and upon completion I was asked for a non refundable R100 deposit which would also go towards the adoption fee of +- R800. The deposit was for a pre-home inspection. Which I was fine with. However, upon calling back today to enquire about the German Shepard dog and the receptionist said she would check the dog and get back to us. Once the SPCA had called us back, my fianc
