South coast SPCA UVONGO is absolutely not about the dogs it's the same sick story about MONEY TALKS. I adopted a dog 4 years ago. I made MONTHLY DONATIONS !!!for 2 years untill I really could not afford it any more as a pensioner. I read a couple of complaints about their money attitude a while back. I was promised....??!! when you ADOPT a dog you will ONLY pay 50% of consultation fees and deworming tablets and if needed antibiotics.... in fact any medication has a DISCOUNT.

This morning when I called them to book a consultation FOR MY ADOPTED L I T T L E JACK RUSSELS, they charged exactly the same amount as Dr Bruggeman the local Vet.

When I reminded them it is an adopted LITTLE Jack Russel they said I only qualify if I give them my *CONFIDENTIAL BANK STATEMENTS, RIDICULOUS!! (everybody knows about this danger it's like giving your pin)

*My SASSA card- when I said I can't apply for SASSA b e c a u s e!!! 1. I get a pension and also 2. I own a house(for which.... I WORKED FOR very hard all my life to have when I get 63 and as a white women in SA won't have a job) Dalene of SPCA Said before the consultation TO PROOF THAT I QUALIFY....she also then need MY *Proof of my property in other words "Deed of sale" of my property!!(this has NOTHING to do with SPCA it us a confidential document AND WITH MY ACCOUNTANT WHOS OFFICE IS CLOSED ON A SATURDAY!! *ALSO MY ID document to proof I am not lying I am a pensioner.

So in OTHER words WHEN THEY INSPECTED my property BEFORE allowing me to QUALIFY NOTHING.... was a problem. *Not my financial status as a property owner, they DID NOT NEED MY : *Bank statements *MY Proof of Deed of sale of my property *My ID

I had to pay close to a R1000 BEFORE I could adopt My LITTLE JACK RUSSEL for all things to get adoption in place.

NOW!!! first time in 4 Y E A R S..... that I need them, I have to run around for hours

IN STAY HOME COVIT regulations,

I MUST PAY THE SAME AS FOR PRIVATE PRACTISE VET!!! DISCLOSE.... all my confidential documents, because they don't TRUST me. They say, they cannot trust anybody without the above mentioned.
