Inadequate SPCA Inspector!

It seems owning a dog in CPT isn't as good as one thought it would be. That owners' hearts to care for dogs are taken for granted by people who supposedly has to be professional at least on a mediative level.

Unfortunately, I am writing this review in respect of my rights as a owner of a dog and herewith wish to address the situation regarding professionalism from SPCA inspectors.

I am unhappy to receive 3 differently written warnings from an inspector at Grassy Park SPCA. Firstly, the inspector was out of office when contacted, but with a sudden call back, he was in reach! Talk about time travel! Secondly, I believe the inspector to be untrained and unprofessional based on my observations from his conduct to the situation. He was inadequate when he delivered the complaint, but failed to at least implement a mediation between the complainant and owner, which is firstly recommended by the new amendment to the Animal Act. No mediation was encouraged and also no feedback on the exact nature of observations by himself or complainant which led to the officer giving and delivering unskilled and non-profesionalized conduct. This also led to the inspector falsifying a signature which in my healthy mind as a qualified teacher, is *****. Literally signing 'occupant'.

Third, I am well aware of the health status and conditions of my dogs. I am aware of weight loss occurrences after pregnancies, but the official decided that his observations is much more important than what happens in the dog's life, not even following up on such an event within a time of festivities, a time where a lot of owners decide to responsibly go on vacation and still having someone to take care of the dogs.

Finally, the public must be aware of these visits and threats from SPCA inspectors who are clearly making decisions based on observations and speculation. More training is needed or deeper I mean much deeper understanding of animals is needed, profesional knowledge and proper conduct is expected from such officials.

I am sure that dog owners, like myself would not take animals or dogs for fun, we understand the responsibility from taking care of our own animals, it's the SPCA's responsibility to oversee and where applicable, provide the correct guidance and professional advice to owners, not confiscate the dogs as an ultimate conclusion, they should know better than that!

Ultimately, my complaint is against SPCA to employ properly trained individuals to conduct their responsibilities in the most meditative manner. Their services are weak and limited in the sense of taking advantage of their positions.
