Honesty will be appreciated
If only staff at the SPCA in Darling would have told me that my cat and 2 week old kittens would be euthanised, I would never ever have surrendered them. The reason that I took them in was for the safety of the babies. My dogs get very playful with kittens and have accidently ****ed a few from the previous litter. The idea was that a safe home would be found for the beautiful, healthy kittens. Imagine my shock when I was told that the mother is "long gone". This after I was told that they would be taken well care of!

The adult cat and 2 two week old kittens were surrendered to the Swartland SPCA on 26 September 2019. The person that surrendered the cat claimed that it was a feral cat that she was feeding for a while. The kennel staff tried to work with her for a week, but she did not want to allow anyone near her. As she was not adoptable the euthanasia committee decided to euthanase her on 3 October 2019. The kittens were too small to keep on their own and were also showing signs of snuffels and sadly they were euthanased on the same day. Kind regards
