People really don't understand how underfunded the spca actually is, I have a friend who works at the one in George. They have to many abandoned pets and they really do struggle with the funding provided. I've also witnessed how some people drop their pets off for boarding and never come back. I understand they have to put down animals that are healthy but it's because of funding and space. If they don't the poor dog will end up starving which is even worse...
I understand that some people may have had a bad experience but I genuinely don't think anyone understands how stressful it can be and everyone has a bad day.
I really do think what you are doing and I've met so many of you that are so passionate about helping animals and it really warms my heart. I'm sorry on behalf of all those that don't understand.
