Disgusting service from SPCA Mokopane

I have reported animal cruelty to Mokopane SPCA but no one is prepared to assist me,everytime they give me an excuse that they only have one car and it's broken.I have been asking for help since from December 2020 but up to now im not winning. My neighbour has about 8 dogs, the dogs go for days without food, they don't have shelter and some are caged..this is very disturbing ...three died because of hunger..i think they were 10 in total,He's always not at home..please assist.

The SPCA in Mokopane would like to apologise sincerely for the delayed response. We take all cases of animal cruelty very seriously, and serious action will be taken against the employee, who did not respond to the complaint within 24 Hours. We have had issues with our vehicle, which was sorted out yesterday, although this may not be used as an excuse at all.  We want to assure the public and the complainant that the SPCA  is a trustworthy, reputable animal welfare organisation, and takes its role as an animal protection and welfare service very seriously. One of our Inspectors attended to the call yesterday and observed 8 dogs on the property. After discussion with the owner of the animals, they were all surrendered into the care of the SPCA in Mokopane. We will continue to do visits at this property, to ensure he does not get dogs again. All 8 dogs were taken to the Vet, Dr Debbie in Mokopane before they were taken to the SPCA.Thank you to the complainant who reported this and for persisting until the animals were rescued.
