Today we found out that the SPCA in Amanzimtoti decided to ****** my kids two dogs, their excuse was as of yesterday the dogs belonged to them and they decided to ****** the dogs because we didn't have money to pay to collect them 5 days prior, nowhere did they communicate that is what they'll do. I told them when I get paid we will collect the our dogs. My kids are devasted at the lack of real concern for the well being of the animals so if you can't pay them ***** you basically. They cried when I told them the SPCA ****ed their dogs because I didn't have money to collect them.

10 Dec 2018, 13:33Dear Anver Your two male daxi’s came into our SPCA on Friday 16/11/2018 at 12.30pm ,they had SPCA ID tags so we phoned you straight away to collect them. On Saturday I phoned again and left a message on the voice mail informing you that the SPCA closes at 12pm. Your husband phoned me back and said he would only collect the dogs on Tuesday, I did inform him that the dogs were very stressed and not doing well in the kennels. Nobody collected the dogs on the Tuesday as promised and up until the end of the pound period, being the 23/11/2018, not one phone call from you or your husband to let us know when you would be collecting the dogs so we could only assume that you no longer wanted the dogs. The dogs were very thin and one had severe ring worm so a decision was made to humanely euthanase them. Responsible caring owners would have collected their dogs straight away or liaised with us. Sorry for your dogs that this wasn’t the case for them. Kind Regards Tracey
