Disappointing.
The SPCA in Edenvale is shocking and have no compassion towards animals! When asking a simple question like how much it would be to put my fur baby to sleep and they asked me why can't a vet do it.. The manager Marita was extremely rude and had no heart about this!! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THAT PLACE TO ANYONE!! I feel so sorry for the animals on their hands.

An email was received from Tyla, enquiring about the cost to have her puppy humanely euthanised due to a serious condition. Our manageress Marita Acar, called Tyla for more info. Tyla was offered assistance and provided with the costs and 2 suitable times to come through to the branch when the inspector was available. Marita did ask Tyla her age as she sounded very young and Marita wanted to be sure she would be able to offer Tyla support when she came for her appointment. At no point was dissatisfaction raised during the phone call by Tyla regarding Marita being rude or not having compassion. Tyla then mailed Marita back and advised their vet would euthanise their puppy via an email. At no time was Marita rude or not compassionate towards Tyla’s situation, she merely had to gather more information so that we would be in a better position to help the pup. We apologise that we made you feel this way as this was not our intention at all.
