Brakpan SPCA
Why does it take so long to inspect houses? Why does it take 7 business days to answer emails? Why am I still waiting after 2 weeks for my puppy after reserving? Their main priority should be GETTING HOMES FOR THEIR DOGS. Take your job more seriously!

15 May 2025, 12:12Good Day,Thank you for noting your concern.Unfortunately, due to the lack of information provided, it has been extremely difficult to give a specific and detailed response. We attempted to contact the number listed with the review to clarify the matter, but the individual we reached confirmed they did not submit the complaint.Using the same number, however, we were able to trace an adoption application. The applicant completed their form on Saturday, 3 May 2025, and the final requested documentation—clearly listed in the application—was submitted on Monday, 5 May 2025. Our inspector visited the address twice prior to 8 May, and the successful home inspection was completed and approved on the morning of 8 May 2025. This entire process took just 5 working days from the initial application.We wish to assure you that the welfare of the animals in our care is of utmost importance. At the same time, we also strive to respond to the many calls concerning animals in the Brakpan area. With limited resources, we do our best to attend to all requests as efficiently as possible.At the time of this review, all adoption inspections were up to date. Should you be able to provide additional information regarding the specific adoption or concern referenced, we would be happy to look into the matter further and discuss how we can improve.
