Boksburg SPCA staff
Absolutely disgusted with the staff at the Boksburg SPCA. My mother, who is unemployed due to ill-health, took her dog -who passed way after having babies - along with the dead babies to the Boksburg SPCA for assistance. It was found that 3 babies were alive however they had to put them down. They then demanded R400 to take the dogs to be cremated. This after my mother advised she has no money because she unemployed. So they can kill the babies for free but won't take them to be cremated for free?? After my mother had a complete breakdown already being emotional about the loss of her fur baby, they took the doggo's. Without my mother having paid any money. They are all ******* and took a chance to see if they can make a quick buck... The National Council of the SPCA is a non-profit org and is registered as a public benefit organization. Asking for a donation is perfectly fine but demanding money from a visibly sick person who suffered a loss is beyond disgusting. My donations will also stop immediately unless an apology is given.
