Adopt of dog declined due to home dog not sprayed
SPCA :Adopt a dog<br> This what u see on the websites and social media of the SPCA'S.<br> And like you said we are \not trying to save a life or rescue a dog "we are wanting to take in a dog to give him the love and attention he deserves .. The SPCA'S are so full I doubt each dog is given their full attention.<br> I can't tell you when I will spray my bore bull she has been registered with KUSA as well as SABBS"

The SPCA movement advocates responsible ownership. The reason for the influx of animals admitted into the SPCAs is due to owners not sterilising their animals and breeding which you yourself have indicated as an intention for your unsterilized Boerboel. The Roodepoort SPCA have an internal policy to not rehome any animal to a home where there are other unsterilized pets, having said that, the Society is willing to assist in sterilising the animals before declining any home, however, you are not interested in sterilising your dog therefor the Society have declined your home. They are acting within their rights. As stated to you in email correspondence, there are many benefits to early sterilisation and the SPCA movement, as well as many other animal welfare organisations and veterinarians who advocate this practice. The SPCA movement cannot, and will not, refuse any animal irrespective of capacity. We trust this clarifies.
