False accusations and refusal to rectify
I bought a rifle from NSN and wanted it modified. Johan, the owner, suggested DJ Arms in Brits for it. The rifle was sent to DJ to their gunsmith. I waited seven months for my license and collected the rifle two weeks ago. Two days ago, for the first time in my life, I fired the rifle. It promptly broke. I called Johan yesterday and explained the situation. His immediate, and totally foreseen, reaction was to blame the gunsmith and accuse him of a 'paint job'. Worst of all, in an email to me, he accuses me of firing the gun before I even collected it from DJ Arms. It is completely uncalled for and totally false. He said to bring the rifle in, he has a gunsmith on site. We agreed that I will bring the rifle in this morning. He does not have a gunsmith on site to work on the rifle while I wait as agreed, and he was not there as promised. I called Ansie at DJ and she immediate and without any qualms arranged for the gun to be collected and will repair it asap. That's what I call service. I would recommend them anytime but in the same breath warn all customers to stay very far away from JOHAN and NSN Guns in Pretoria, they don't need customers but will take your money.
