Student in need

I am a student at Central Johannesburg College, Langlaagte campus and I reside in Alexandra, Johannesburg. We are not allowed to register for accommodation allowance as they say we are not far from campus but the allowance we receive is not enough as we take 2 taxis to campus and 2 taxis going back home. A day we use R64 and we get only a R1000 for transport allowance. We use the same allowance when lecturers want us to do something that requires money. Some of us don't have parents, no support system and even if I find a part time job I don't think I'll manage with the work we get from school. Assignment after assignment so getting a job right now won't work. Can you please help us coz I know I'm not the only one with this problem. They should allow us to register for accommodation or rather increase our allowance from a thousand, it's not enough.
