Settlement of balance

Good day I have tried several attempts to call and get through to the nsfas office. My complaint is about the outstanding balance on my account 5******9. On the 15 of November 2019 i received a statement with a balance of R7705.94. So on 20 November 2019 I requested the settlement balance and never received a response so on 28 November 2019 I made a payment of R7705.94 which was reflected on the November statement received meaning I had settled the amount. However only on the 11 of February 2020, 2 months after I have requested the balance and paid the amount reflected on the statement received in November 2019 I receive a January statement that reflects a closing balance of R103.36. My question is how does this come about? I would like to request that you close my account with immediate effect, I have paid my duties on 28 November 2019 surely you should be able to see that.
