NSFAS makes me sick
iam writting this with a pained heart i must says a few years ago or is it a year ago that a girl was paid out millions by mistake and she spent it on weaves ref :Sibongile Mani, the Walter Sisulu University (WSU) student who accidentally received more than R14m from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) and went on a spending spree in 2017.
now i have two nieces that dont have both parents and all they wanna do is study during the time of high school going to sleep on an empty stomach was a norm but they hoped why they got to varsity level the governement would help Vuyiswa glanga who lives on grant from the government needs to stretch it and pay fees at motheo aswell and accomodation and transport and that amount from social grant isn't even R2000, Dora dlanga and Vuyiswa Dlanga are currently studying at Motheo and Dora received only funding for tuition and no accomodation no food Vuyiswa dlanga didn't receive any funding, now tell me what are these kids means to do to become someone in this world if the little hope they have gets shattered, these are girls and for a girl child to go to school is golden because many woman are still deprived to get education..iam bitterly dissapointed that these two girls with no parents maybe not the only in south africa but they wanna learn and they being blocked and there is no means of income at home i mean where should they get it selll their bodies tell us where what should they eat while they study get a sugar daddy nsfas sickens me. for people out there south africa is a shame of a country and its ******* system, i wonder the people that make these decisions on who gets funding what type of cars they drive or here they live or do they even care.
