Nsfas delays

Good day

I understand the strain Covid 19 have on all companies during this pandemic but is there a possibility that you can please please please appoint competent staff during December.

I assisted my sister with her application and we app**** in October or November 2019. We received an sms stating to resubmit parents payslips. The honest people we are we submitted our dad's latest November payslip, he works for City of Cape Town. City of Cape Town receive an annual bonus in November but that does not affect the annual salary amount that is printed on the payslip.

We received feedback in March that her application was declined due to household threshold exceeds R350 000, which is incorrect. We then appealed. Till today her application shows outstanding documents pending. We received and sms on the 21st April 2020 to sent household to the appeal email address that we did. I locked a case on the Mynsfas portal with the relevant documents (CS***) Lunga responded saying again household income exceeds R350000 and she should add him on WhatsApp and sent relevant documents... No response from him as yet.

My maths is up to date and I previously worked in bank.

My dads annual income is R181K and mom is R109k which is R300k which is not yet R350 000.

Because of the *********** person who captured her application the first time she is probably now not going to get the laptop that she desperately need to do her online learning for UWC.

On top of it all her balance at UWC is R40K and tje reason why she went to register was because she got the clearance from NSFAS in the first place.

Please assist with this matter as its affecting her studies negatively.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Regards
