NSFAS Debt Collection Department - A *****

I owed NSFAS since 2004 about R35000 from my fees. In 2014 after being threatened several times of possibility of being Blacklisted, I organized a payment arrangement of R550 per month. I paid this account for 6 years before I realized that there didn't seem to be any difference and I eventually requested a settlement amount in August 2020. I settled the account in the same month. However, ever since September 2020, NSFAS has continued to debit my account. In total I have overpaid NSFAS R4950 since 2020 and when I try to call Credit Intel who was handling the account, I was told to wait for 60 days before NSFAS can have the money reflected in their account. After being ignored from January 2021, I was eventually told that Credit Intel does not handle NSFAS accounts anymore and that I should call NSFAS directly to sort out the matter. I have sent NSFAS debt collection department several emails, tried calling them to no answer and I am just lost for hope as my bank Standard Bank refuses to stop the debit order. I am frustrated because I don't know who to turn to for help so that NSFAS can stop debiting my account and return all the excess amount they have debited after I settled their account.
