NSFAS and its disappointing service to students

I am disappointed and furious with this NATIONAL STUDENTS FINANCIAL AID SCHEME by the government. Its not serving the purpose at all, students are left without funds and not paid for their accommodation fees. The scheme doesn't respond to student's claims and neither do they pay in time, hence the students end up not having residential places or enough tuition fees.

They used to have offices here in Durban but we were told they moved, they didn't notify anyone of their new address but they left a cellphone number to call, that number is either on voicemail or its ringing forever. We've seen in the news of students sleeping in the cold kicked out of res cos of inability of NSFAS to pay fees on time, we are so disappointed and angry at this.

This financial aid scheme on their website and newsletters claim to always put students first, but that is utter *******!!!
