LONG WAITING PERIOD

<p>Im a first year student at NMMU and i app**** for NSFAS on the 25 of November 2016. Since from last year up to this period i've been waiting for a response from NSFAS and i haven't recieved anything from them.On February i called them and they said my form haven't been captured yet. On the same month i went to the financial aid offices to check the progress and i was told that i have status , everything it sorted and i should wait for a message.On the 29 of March i went to the financial offices again to check the progress of my application and i was told that i should call them because by this time i should have recieved the message from NSFAS. I called them and they said my form haven't been captured yet and they don't have my details on system. It is painful especially when other students who app**** on January have already gotten their LAF and their allowances as well. Starving in a place that is very far from my home is really putting a strain in my studies. Not to mention sharing a room with a student from a rich family. Stressing about subsistance on daily basis is gradually affecting my studies intensively . I was raised by an unemployed single parent whom is always admitted to hospital because she is always stressing about how im surviving . Please help me i left my home because i want to better the situation at home not to starve. I promise to do my level best.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
