Follow Up on Provisionally Funded Status and Unpaid Allowances

I am Siphiwe Sesoai, currently studying towards a Diploma in Management and Project Management at CPUT. I am residing at Plein South Point Accommodation, Cape Town, 8001, which is also NSFAS accredited.

I would like to enquire about my NSFAS status. It indicates that I am “Provisionally Funded,” however, I have not received any monthly allowance. In addition to this, I would also like to report that I have not received my student accommodation allowance.

I am humbly requesting assistance regarding this matter.

For clarity, I re-app**** on 1 July 2024 after my initial application was unsuccessful due to insufficient supporting documents proving that my mother is unemployed. In January 2025, I received a response stating that I am now provisionally funded.

I kindly request guidance on the delay in my allowances and the next steps I should take.
