Disappointment with Poor terrible service by NSFAS

I app**** for NSFAS loan for my child. I have been calling them time and again for feedback snce we have not received any sms from them, they told me the application is still under Evaluation. Last week they told me to be patient because they give priority to applicants who stays at rural areas. I asked them that even a child who stays next door to the internet cafe ends up using their money to access the internet in order to check the status of application, are they not considering that fact as well?. Today they told me that the thresh-hold for NSFAS is R122000.00, if parents salary is above it they do not grant financial assistance. I was shocked since it has been in the media that they will assist those who earn less that R600000.00.

What is happening with you NSFAS? is your job so difficult you end up changing information. Again they tell me the surname used are different, how can you tell me that after so many calls that i have made to them? For your information sake, I have sent you the birthcertificate and ID card copy of my child to see that the surnames were changed. One person, one name, one ID number, different surnames with proof attached and you tell me it is different people, where is logic?. I am so disappointed in NSFAS. Another thing is the status has been changed to :"go to apply tab to make new application", how can this be?

When i ask about that, they tell me on their side the status is still "Awaiting Evaluation". I mean we are talking abou one website, one person, how can the status be different?

NSFAS please do your job, either inform applicants that you are not granting them financial assistance or provide it, dont take people for a ride.

On your voice prompts you say people can send email to ********** I have sent two e-mails already, you are not opening them. My tracking sysytem indicates that the e-mails have been delivered but not read. What is the meaning of this?

Please respond to my childs application so that we know where we stand.

It is now March, no feedback, and your voice prompts says all university applications will be given feedback by 20 February. care to explain this? I suggests you update you website and change your voice prompts because information you give there is a lie and irrelevant
