Dear NSFAS Cape Town Office,

I recently attended the 2025 EDHE Students Indaba, where over 500 student entrepreneurs were awarded laptops by NSFAS to support Entrepreneurship in Higher Education — a truly unforgettable and inspiring moment.

During the distribution, I observed how demanding and fast-paced the process was, and it was clear that the NSFAS team was under considerable pressure. Despite this, one staff member, Ms. Nqanqeni Abigail, stood out remarkably. She remained calm, creative, and proactive throughout, ensuring that students were assisted efficiently and with a positive attitude.

In light of the challenges and criticisms NSFAS has faced in recent years, I believe it is equally important to celebrate and acknowledge excellence when it is demonstrated. Ms. Abigail’s professionalism and composure are commendable and reflect positively on the values of the organisation.
