Agent from NSFAS

On 5th July 2023 at 11:15 a lady called Lebo called me using this number +***5. She said she is from NSFAS, the system of NSFAS was shut down, i have to pay NSFAS. I told this person that i am already paying NSFAS, actually i have been paying NSFAS since 2015 even now i am still paying. I have proofs in the form of payslips which prove that NSFAS is deducting an amount of R800 from my persal even if they can check on their system they will see this.

This Lebo argued and no, i am not paying NSFAS i must start paying an amount of R1400 to NSFAS. I told her i wont do that, in 2015 i made a signed agreement with NSFAS that i will pay them R800 and that agreement has never change and wont change today. I even told her that my NSFAS debt is almost done now, therefore there no need to increase the payment to R1400, plus i am not agreeing to such.

Their system failure is not my problem, i will continue paying that agreed R800 until my debt with them is settled entirely. This Lebo who claims to work for NSFAS said i must send her my bank statement to her email address which is ***.

Please verify this person if indeed she is sent by NSFAS, and again my initial agreement with NSFAS of paying R800 still stands. This Lebo has no right whatsoever change my payment. I have never missed any payment with NSFAS as they are deducting from my persal, so this thing that they are trying to do is ridiculous!
