I would like to advise as follows:
Please take note that the NPDA is solely responsible for the collection and distribution of a debt review applicants monthly contribution amount based on instruction received from the DC firm. Should an account be paid up, the only party authorized to make changes to this payment plan is you DC firm.
Kindly note that discrepancies between the NPDA balance and Credit Provider Balances may be due to the following factors:
o The NPDA relies on your Debt Counselor to capture the balance, based on a certificate of balance from the Credit Provider.
o Costs levied by the Credit Provider such as bank charges, insurance, interest and other charges, are not always known by the NPDA.
The DC firm is responsible for the management of the consumer's debt review application, which includes updating of outstanding balances, liaising with the relevant credit providers etc.
I am not able to trace an enquiry logged on the NPDA's query management system from either yourself or your debt counselor however your statement was e-mailed this morning as requested
Best regards,
