Stay Away from this Circus!!

I am absolutely irate and utterly disgusted by the abhorrent level of service provided by Notary Pretoria. On the 21st of February 2024, I entrusted them with the task of obtaining an unabridged birth certificate for the daughter, fully aware that their own website states a processing time of up to 20 business days. Despite promptly paying the deposit on the same day, the communication from Notary Pretoria during the waiting period was shockingly inadequate, raising immediate red flags.

Repeatedly, we emphasized to Notary Pretoria the critical nature of our situation: my daughter’s Visa application and appointment in Pretoria were scheduled for the 2nd of April. The ramifications of arriving in Pretoria without the unabridged certificate for her Embassy appointment were dire. Yet, despite clear and urgent concerns, Notary Pretoria failed to deliver. Upon arriving at their offices in Pretoria on the morning of my embassy appointment, my daughter was met with a barrage of excuses and empty promises. Despite their assurances, none of their efforts had borne any fruit up to THIS point. I am now faced with the very real possibility of losing not only her Au Pair contract but also incurring substantial financial losses due to the travel and flight costs already expended.

To add insult to injury, the response from the company yesterday was beyond belief: "Unfortunately, home affairs can't find the records. My manager had given it to another supplier to see if he can come through for us..." This cavalier attitude and blatant disregard for my predicament (of which they are the sole cause!) are utterly inexcusable.
