Dishonest dealership

We purchased an Uno 1.1 for R20000.00 from Nos Auto Affordable cars in Pretoria Gardens on the 9th June 2023.

On the advert it states that the car runs very well and nothing needs to be fixed. We purchased the vehicle under the impression that everything had been disclosed to us as they are a dealership and are answerable to the consumer act.

On arriving home, we discovered that the exhaust has a hole in it, the steering rack needs to be replaced, which they said no it's the alignment on the car. The indicators don't work, the carburetor needs to be replaced, the handbrake needs to be replaced, the seats do not come forward as it is a 2 door vehicle and the speedometer does not work. This is to list but a few problems that were never disclosed to us.

We then called them up on the 15th June stating that they had sold the car under false pretense and that we wanted our money back.

They then proceeded to offer us R13000.00 for the vehicle after we had just paid them R20000.00 a week before. They are now wanting to rob us of R7000.00 and then resell the same piece of **** for R20000.00 again to some other unsuspecting individual.

I find this truely disgraceful and dishonest and hope that people do not do business with them...
