These people are the worst kind of lawyers
I closed my credit card account last year at nedbank and closed my savings account to. A month or two ago I started receiving sms's from them saying my credit card payment is overdue... ***. I thought nothing of it considering that woolworths also sends me sms's saying my account is overdue, and woolworths is way above my budget. One day Norton Attorneys calls for the first time confirming that I still owe money to nedbank. I went into my old nedbank branch phoned their credit card legal department and spoke to a Mr Hloni Nakola. He looked into the problem and explained the problem and sorted it out. That is the first time in my entire existence nedbank call center was helpful. I received a email from nedbank that I owe them nothing and my account was cleared. Now Norton Attorneys sent me a sms saying they are going to take me to court over less than R400 and they are going to make me pay the legal fees. Are these people for real, are the justice system so ******* and ********. I asked for a fax no and email address to send proof but no just an sms with their number to call, does air time fall out of the sky. If they don't phone me like a person I'll go to the papers.
