Unreasonable Costs for a simple job.....and I am not the only person complaining

I went in to have spotlights fitted to my bike as I have done with 6 other bikes in the past, but with other dealers. I explained that I was going to do this myself, but my tools were in storage. Shock and horror when the bill came to R 5,600!!! I had to sit at the dealer from 8am to 16h00 and assumed it was because they may be busy....although frustrated I just waited like an idiot. I spoke to two other dealers who are shocked by the amount charged as their charges are less than half of that and would have been done much quicker. I also supp**** all cabling, spotlights, switches, connectors etc to make this a clean and easy job. I would highly recommend rather using another dealership to have any work done on your bike. I could have driven to Umhlanga, stayed for the weekend and have my lights fitted for the price these guys are charging. NOT HAPPY!!
