One year and still waiting

i completed my trade test more than a year ago and I am still waiting on my trade certificate. I received my results already and still waiting to date. I spoke to Charlene Kiewiets from Northlink college Belhar and Nthati from Ceta and received no joy. This is really frustrating as I have been to numerous job interviews and was unable to produce my trade certificate and therefore did not get the employment which is a huge financial loss to myself. This is both frustrating and a huge inconvenience. I expect my trade certificate or I will be taking this matter further to the ombudsman.

Good Day
It is almost the end of 2016 and a reply on my abovementioned complaint was May 2016.
To date I have not heard anything from Northlink College with regards to my certificate. I have had no one contacting me, or any feedback whatsoever. How is this possible? That an Further Education Institution, can be this non chalant about providing a person with a certificate, for a course completed more than a year ago. After countless phonescalls and attempting to follow up from my side, i still am no closer to getting the certificate. Can someone please advise, if there is anywhere else, that i can get some joy from these people? alternatively, i will have no choice to take this matter further the legal route, where the legal costs will be invoiced to Northlink College.

Dear Kevin,
Thank you for taking the time to communicate with Northlink College. We are aware of your situation with regards to your certificate and your trade test. Please note that Northlink College has sent your comment / complaint to Ceta as they are the main organisation along with QCTO that award the certificates.
Northlink College can not force any action on the Ceta, we can only request action. The College is therefore not responsible for the delay in the process but the other organisations. As mentioned, we have been following up on this but we too are still awaiting feedback from them.
We do hope that you understand and we trust that this matter will be resolved soonest.
Regards,
Northlink
