I was in Polokwane looking for a place that can cut and supply domestic window panes. I happen to get the Name of a place called Northern Hardware and Glass. For starters the navigator adress is wrong but after finding the place the service was horrible. My unforgettable, unpalatable and unwarranted experience was on Saturday 4 May 2019.

Facts. I called Leon to ask him what time are they closing and whether they will be able to help me and he said he will if I am in the shop before 11h00. I managed to find the place at 10h45 but the sales lady has already cashed for the day and she was not interested in helping me. I requested to see Leon as he promised me that if I was there before 11H00 , he will help me. To my dismay he tried to help me but the lady at the front desk will not have any of it as she has already cashed up for the day. Her argument was that the alarm will go off if she has to sell me the glasses or window pane. The more I pleaded with her the less interest she showed. The glasses were needed for an emergency and i had to drive back to Pretoria the following day. When I saw that i was not winning with glasses/window panes i tried to buy 6 Alluminiun windows handles and to my dismay i was also told that the lady at the front desk has cashed up and thus there was no way that they will help me

My analysis Quality is about adhering to standard operating procedures and exceeding the client requirements. The cashier is not representing the company well and is not even aware that for her to be paid at the end of the month is because of the sales that she is supposed to make as the face of the organisation. I am still taken aback by the attitude displayed by the lady in question that in my entire life I will not set foot in any of the Franchise of Northern Glass Hardware. Luckily I was advised by one person to go to EH HASSIM in Polokwane where my needs where met and my expectation was exceeded. My gripe is about the attitute, the time that i took and the petrol that I drove with
