North Fridge Sub-contractors ripping you off

Sub contractor for North Fridge ( Aarends) came to quote us on the repair of our fridge and a R120 Thermostat fitted was quoted at R900, which we found excessively high, when we compared this quote to others of R480, We feel that this is a blatant **** where, This subcontractor came in and set the quote extremely high as to us not accepting it and then leaving with a R300 call out for no work done at all.
