<p>I previously was a customer at Standard bank and had an overdraft account with the above mentioned account details. It was later handed over to lawyers where some debit orders were deducted but eventually I ended up paying directly into the account. It is 5yrs later (the account was probably paid up over 3years ag) I am not receiving phone calls from Norman Bissett advising me there is an outstanding amount. I previously provided them with proof of payment from my account detailing the instalments which all totalled to this amount. The issue rested a bit for a few months and then the phone calls started again. All of their consultants don’t listen and they are very rude. I hve asked to speak to a manager or superior several times with no success. Last year I ventured into going into Standard bank for a paid up letter. Standard bank not only sent me from post to pillar but was very unhelpful. They advised me the account number had been reissued as a business account number but I should contact their call centre as they have access to old payments as my direct payments probably went into a pit and someone would have to go and dig for these payments. I contact their call centre as advised and was referred back to the branch . I visited the Glen and Cresta mall where I was referred back to the call centre.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am not sure what other measures what one needs to take as I can imagine with will result as a black listing. Who can help resolve this issue as Norman Bisett is clearly not willing to engage with Standard Bank who has served to be *********** in this regard.</p>
