PRESCRIBED DEBT 1AB004641
I have been harassed continually by sms and phone calls over the past few months regarding an old ABSA account from 14 years ago by Norman Bissett & Associates. I have explained to the call centre agents on numerous occasions that this debt is prescribed in terms of the Prescription Act 68 of 1969, upon which the usual reply is that they will either have to \investigate further"or that I will be blacklisted for not paying up. I have explained to the agent that blacklisting for prescribed debt is prohibited by the NCR.<br> <br> I have also requested they provide me with an original signed contract between myself and ABSA"
