Harassment for account paid years ago

I am constantly receiving SMS messages from this law firm regarding a debt that was PAID IN FULL many years ago.<br> Not only do they contravene the Debt Collections Code of Conduct by not providing the full details of this supposed debt (no amount, etc) but they have no legal right to try and collect a debt that was fully paid up before 2010! I unfortunately cannot find my copy of the letter that I received to state that it was paid in full and closed, but it would not matter anyway as even if I had not paid this account, it would have prescribed long before now and it is ******* to attempt to collect prescribed debt. <br> If I do not receive a letter within one week from today stating that this matter is officially closed, <br> I will be reporting this company to the ombudsman, the NCR and the Law Society.<br> You people really should check the dates and facts about these accounts before trying to **** those poor people who do not know their rights. <br> You should be ashamed of your conduct.
