False information and empty promises

I was out of the country for 2 years. Upon my return I paid up all my accounts that was in arrears. I was called the same day as the payment was made and ask for proof of payment of which I did send immediately. The lady that called me said I will receive the paid up letter the same day, and confirmed my E-mail address. As I called today, and asked what is going on and why I have not yet received my paid up letter, I was informed that it would take another seven days. After they nagged me for a payment, which I then paid, I now have to wait for them for yet another 7 days. They kept on promising me during the week I would get my paid up letter, and when I called to ask, that was the story I was told. Just because they are an attorney firm, does not mean they are untouchable! At this stage I have informed our family advocate, and wrote to the ombudsman. I think this is by far the most unprofessional law firm, and would not suggest any company to make use of them.
